You can use them in legume soups, especially with lentils, tomato sauces, cooked and steamed dishes and potatoes. You can also use bay leaves to season vegetables, pickled vegetables, marinated olives, cheese, vinegar and olive oil. Finally, you can also prepare a wonderful bay leaf tea.
Laurel has been known since ancient times as its leaves were chewed by the priestesses of Apollo in the oracle of Delphi. It was also used to make the wreath for the Olympic winner’s reward.
