Description
The organic legumes have been grown in the Greek regions of Prespa and Viotia for over a hundred years in the traditional way, without using pesticides. They are exquisite in taste and nutritious.
The Greek way of cooking chickpeas is the taditional “revithada” soup. Apart from making the chickpea soup, you can make delicious salads combining them with vegetables and herbs. Another delicious way to use chickpeas is to make mashed chickpeas, or even chickpea patties. You can also cook them in the oven with tomato sauce and frame with Greek Olive Oil. Soak the chickpeas overnight before cooking them.
The legumes boil easily without losing their shape, keeping their taste and offering the ability to cook traditional and nutritional gourmet plates. They stand out for their taste, shape and organoleptic characteristics due to microclimate areas, rich soil, abundant water, rich flora and producers care.
Before soaking, spread the legumes on a surface and rid them of small stones, dark legumes or other small debris.
