Description

Sundried Kymi figs PDO, organic. The sun dried figs from the village of Kymi in central Evia, are cultivated in a traditional and organic way. The figs are golden yellow to light brown with tender skin and soft texture yet dry. They are full of aromas and flavours of local herbs. An authentic superfood, ideal for a quick energy boost. The natural and handmade organic sun-dried figs are the result of a rigorous multi-staged process, which maintains the local culinary tradition. Caring for each fig individually creates the company name “ASKADA” which literally means two sun-dried figs pressed together.
All natural, no preservatives, without sulphurisation, no added sugars, gluten free and vegan. A bay leaf is used as natural preservative, instead of using chemical preservatives.

Serving Suggestions:
dipped in chocolate, put a fig in your tea pot to create natural sweetness and enhance the flavour of your drink, with cheese and cold cuts, salads, chopped on pizza, in your cereal or simply as a snack.
