Description
Trahans is a Greek, traditional “pasta-soup” made from white and yellow flour, tomatoes, Florina peppers, water and salt, without animal ingredients. In Greek cuisine, it is often used for soups.
For the preparation of this tasty soup, the Trahanas is dissolved in a little water. The resulting porridge is then boiled up in water or broth until the soup has a creamy consistency (the cooking time of trahanas is around 15 to 20 minutes). It can also be used as a type of risotto, but also in pies or as an accompaniment to meat and fish.
This Trahanas is ideal for fasting or vegan diet and to avoid lactose.
