Use and Care
Before using the pot for the first time, wash it carefully by hand with washing-up liquid, rinse it and dry it well. Never heat an empty pot too much. Bring water to the boil when using for the first time. Always fill the pot with liquid before placing it directly on the flame or heat source.
Stir with a stirrer or wooden spoon rather than a metal spoon to avoid scratching the tin coating. As copper is a very conductive and anti-adhesive material, food is unlikely to stick to the bottom of the pot. However, if the inside of the pot does get burnt due to carelessness, soak the pot in warm dishwashing water and let it soak for a few hours until the stain comes off easily. Never use abrasive substances or substances containing chlorine.
