Flute with walnut (Flogerakia)
A classic sweet dessert for the Christmas holidays. The crispy flute are made from flaky pastry, walnuts and cinnamon and poured with syrup.
Baklava rolls (Saraglakia)
Another delicious sweet dessert that looks a lot like a small baklava, with the difference that these are rolls. Especially for the baklava, the flaky pastry are placed on a tray and sprinkled with walnuts. For the saragli, 1-2 sheets of flaky pastry are rolled up with the filling of nuts and spices and cut into small rolls.
Kantaifi or angel hair called is a sweet dessert with walnuts or a mixture of peeled almonds, walnuts, pistachios and mixed with cinnamon.
The beloved Tulumbakia are made from flour, semolina and oriental spices.
